Do you really hate someone or, do you only hate the condition he or she is in at the moment.We are not here to judge others but, to understand why this person was pushed into acting the way he or she did.Sometimes it's wise to do a bit of digging, to find out why this person acted this way, towards you and possibly you can try and help that person out and, if it's over your head,it would be wise to keep away from that person just for a little while.You probably would be surprised of the results and might end up having the best of friend ever.Knowing that no one is perfect and that sometimes we could break up a beautiful friendship,is something to really think about before getting carried away too quickly and hurting yourself and someone that you really care about.

In my situation I have to hate the person and the situation.
Some of my family and friends are racists and they don't approve of me dating Luther.
I tried to explain to them and gave them many chances to understand but they don't.
They told me they will never change and that causes hate.
What would any person do when they bring a boyfriend named Luther to a family gathering so they can meet him and they all make rude remarks because of the colour of his skin?
I do admit I do hate certain people because they have hate in their hearts.
Others who only get angry and rude for a day or two I still love.

This is quite an exception Erin but i still believe that even though they say they will never change,something always happens in life to these people to make them change their attitudes.Keeping away for a certain period of time might be the answer.If one day you learn about such a change,i'm sure you will forgive them because, you have a strong will and a very good hearth and, that unbreakable love you have for Luther will eventually reach them.It takes a litlle longer, for some people to accept that, no matter what color our skin is,it's what is in our hearts that counts.Think of it this way,racism is a sickness and when we least expect it,people get cured from it.I know it's not easy for you and Luther but,as they always say,time heals everything.So Erin, you know that love is stronger than anything so,keep strong,and keep on hoping and be prepared for an eventual change to happen.In the meantime,Keep On Smiling and the very best of luck to you and Luther.....

FANTASTIC thought.
I make sure I always listen more than talk when someone is angry with me. I let them have their say. No reason to battle or scream. I keep it in a nice tone.
That doesn't work all of the time.  Many times people hate because of skin colour or faith in religion. The sad fact is they were brought up that way. Their Parents taught them to hate. Now they are teaching their kids to hate and this can go on for many generations. That's the problem Erin is facing and it's unfair.
Life is too short to waste time on hating others. Love and be Positive and live.
