Howdy Laura. 
I want to find a job at a Christian - Family based publication. It doesn't have to be in Texas. It can be anywhere. I'm willing to move and live on my own to start my career. I have been sending out resume's and college reference letters to all Christian publications.
I'm praying for acceptance at "Focus On The Family" publications. I would do any job offered to me if I get to work there.

Turk has been fighting for full custody of Turk Jr. Currently he has partial mostly weekends.
I'm very much into it. I love that kid and look forward to a day I'm his Stepmom. I want the best fo Turk Jr. Getting away from his Mom would be the best. I can't get into details but his Mom has a substance abuse problem and we don't want Turk Jr around her.
My wish for this summer is for Turk to get full custody.

I would love to get a more secure, established comedy writing job. Currently I work free lance and I write comedy for comedians, commercials and occasionly for tv. Don't get me wrong I love it but it's unstable. Some weeks I earn top dollar while other weeks I make nearly nothing. It all evens out at the end of the year. I would like one place where I can hang my comedy writing hat on.
Days like today where I don't have work I feel useless around the house. Bridgee works hard. Between us we earn enough to support our lives but I would like to start saving up for when we decide to marry and start a family.
Yo Nikki, for you. I hope your boyfriend gets custody of his kid.

I would love to move out of this cramped up small apartment and put money down on a condo or a house. Angela and I have been saving up for it. It looks like it's going to take at least six months but with a little luck we may be able to do it in late september.

This is a cool thread.
I'm saving up money in the "Kelly Car Fund" to buy a new car in September. I have been saving since January. By September the prices should have come down.
The "Kelly Car" is getting old and starting to sputter when driving over 80 MPH.  Just Joking Daddy Dougie. It does sputter over 60 MPH so it's time to say goodbye to my very first car and hiya to my very first new car.
I was hoping to have it before going back to college in late August but it looks like that is not going to happen.
Nikki, I hear you. My fingers are crossed too. Get Turk jr away from his Mother.

End racism in my family and Luther's family. It's jazzy something I want every day.
I'm sick and tired of my family knocking on Luther because he's black and his family beating on me because I'm white. I have one set of grandparents who hate my parents because they feel that they made me like black men by teaching me about jazz and the love of jazz. I'm getting to the breaking point. It's too stupid! I want it to end and every one treat every person as an equal.

Erin, racism is sick. There was a time I thought I was racist against other religions but I found out that I never took the time to understand them. When I did racism went away. Your family needs to take time to understand Luther.

Currently Connyboy and I have an apartment that was built above the garage by his parents. It's small and not a part of the main house but I would still want a "real" apartment.

This summer I'm working on something I have been working on for the last seven months. That is losing my virginity.
Rod-Ron and I tried and tried but right before that moment, I want to stop. I couldn't and still can't do it. I feel awful for Rod-Ron. He doesn't ask for it but I want him to be happy. I am NOT ready yet. It's so tough giving up that part of my life. I'm hoping over this summer I will be ready. I'm only going to lose it when I am ready. It's too important to me.
Nikki I hope your boyfriend gets total custody of his son.
Erin it's a crying shame in the year 2008 we still have racism. I know that my heritage is Hispanic. I just don't know if I'm Cuban, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, Portuguese, Mexican or any other Hispanic culture heritage. I was adopted and on the paper work they have on me listed under heritage "Hispanic" and nothing more.
I wish that we are known by what country we are citizens in and not by heritage labels. Racism s*cks! I hope your family wakes up and learns the truth.

It's great you will only go that far when YOU are ready. It's a huge step and shouldn't be wasted with a quickie. It should be an all day affair where there is kissing and hugging before for hours and after for many hours.
I waited until my wedding night. It didn't have anything to do with my Christian faith. It had to do with myself. I was only going to lose that part of me at a special time and place. No bam thank you ma'am. It had to be an all day experience.
On my wedding night it was beautiful. It lasted into the next afternoon.
Don't do it until you are ready.
You prove great maturity, Cindy. Great thinking.

I lost mine in the most romantic city, Rome Italy the summer when I was 17 years old. It was so romantic.
Sadly, the guy dumped me shortly after but the memories of losing it there is still in my favourite top 3 in memories.
It's cool to wait until you are ready. Don't do it for him. Do it for yourself.

I'm still a virgin and so is Teeeeeno. We have both learned that there are other ways to satisfy the need without losing our virginities. The final feeling when a couple is love playing I am told feels the same any way you do it. I love holding on to my virginity. That doesn't mean I think the whole world should.
I believe it's FANTASTIC that some of our friends lost it at 17 and 18 years old and older. I believe the friends who have lost it were truly ready.
I know I'm not ready at 23 years old and you feel you aren't ready at 21 years old. That's cool.
My feelings are if a person over the legal consent age feels they are truly ready to take that next step without regrets then go ahead. If you feel you aren't ready... don't do it. Either/Or it is cool.
Cindy, don't pressure yourself with a time limit. Do it when you feel in your heart the time is right.

Its great you wait until youre ready in Sweden most people looses it when they are like 13-15 and that is way to young I think.

I'm focused on making money. This week I'm working 50 hours. It's nice getting paychecks but I'm starting to feel down because I feel like I have no life but work. I miss seeing my boyfriend and hanging out with my friends, especially since summer is the only time when everyone is around. I'm starting an online class in a few weeks so I think I'm going to have to ask for less hours. 
I really like this thread. It's sweet.
Cindy, it's definitely great that you're waiting until you feel ready. You'll be so happy you did--it's really beautiful to share that with someone when the feeling of wanting to do it is mutual. :hugs:

Diiiiiane. I feel bad your Dianettes have to be trapped in a bra while you are working 50+ hours. What you need is your Tony Tone Tone to drive down to Jersey and give you a massage. Many don't know this but I'm a massage therapist and bra fitting specialist.

Hi, Cindy. It will happen in time. Don't pressure yourself. You are lucky that you listen to your heart, and that you have an awesome boyfriend who does as well.
I must echo Crystal's post exactly (except for the Teeeno first paragraph part. No Tino here :lol You'll know when the time is right. I believe in waiting for my wedding night (even though I'm well into my twenties and always fancied myself married by now ), but I know some are ready at different times. Every person knows the right time for her/himself.
My summer is focused on health, fitness and working, too. I tried quitting one of my jobs, and the owner begged me to stay. I now have a full-time writing job, and I work at a restaurant as well. I'm working a bunch. Like Diane and Zoomer, I love the paycheck.
I plan on going to Washington, D.C. for just two days over July the 4th weekend. Besides that, it's focus on work and my arts this summer for me.
I love the way this thread has gone. Hi, friends.
Good luck, Nikki, on the fight. His father deserves custody.
Erin, I agree with you about ending racism. I know we used to email (and I loved our emails). It will end someday! I am praying your family does wise up and a miracle happens!
